Overview

Casual Administration Officer - Mental Health role at Hunter New England Local Health District. As part of the Mental Health Casual Administration pool, you will have opportunities to work in a diverse range of settings throughout Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the Hunter Valley regions, including acute inpatient units, community services, and support teams. Successful candidates provide relief for permanent administration staff, covering planned leave and short-notice shifts.

* Remuneration : $32.30 - $33.37 Per Hour + Superannuation
* Location : Mater Mental Health Centre, Waratah

Responsibilities

* Provide customer service and maintain records using a range of clinical and corporate IT systems.


About You

* Commitment to remaining in the casual pool for a minimum of 12 months to learn various roles and develop core administrative skills.
* Flexibility in rostered hours and open availability for blocks of work.
* While prior Mental Health Service experience is not necessary, understanding the challenges of working in an acute mental health setting is important.
