JOB SUMMARY
The Welcome Ambassador is the face of the hotel, responsible for ensuring a warm welcome and a memorable experience for all guests. This role focuses on providing personalized service, managing queues, addressing guest concerns promptly, and fostering lasting relationships to ensure guest satisfaction and loyalty.
Role responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out processes
- Manage queues ensuring that all guests are approached and acknowledged
- Ensure VIP guests and regular guests receive personalized attention
- Assist with special requests or VIP guests as needed
- Anticipate guest needs and handle their inquiries or complaints efficiently and professionally
- Coordinate with all departments to fulfill guest requests and resolve issues
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of hotel facilities, promotions, and events
- Assist guests with travel arrangements, restaurant reservations, and other concierge services
- Maintain guest profiles and preferences in the property management system (PMS)
- Follow up with guests during and after their stay to ensure satisfaction
- Prepare welcome amenities and coordinate special requests (e.g. elites, birthdays, anniversaries)
- Ensure the lobby and reception area are clean, presentable, and stocked with promotional materials
- Represent W Sydney by demonstrating professionalism, courtesy, and great hospitality at all times
- Promote hotel services and amenities to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue opportunities.
- Uphold confidentiality, discretion, and ethical standards at all times.
