About The Role
Ventia is seeking a qualified Carpenter to operate across Defence sites for planned, reactive, remedial and ad-hoc maintenance activities. Other duties include installation, maintenance and repair of building fabric, minor projects and fit outs, renovation, maintenance of structures, features and furnishings as required.
About You
* Certificate III in Carpentry
* A minimum of 3 years' experience as a carpenter, with focus on planned and reactive maintenance
* Hold a valid white card
* Demonstrated experience in time critical rectification and reporting
* Capability in maintaining scheduled work plans
* A current unrestricted drivers' licence
* You take pride in delivering high-quality work safely and reliably, follow established procedures, actively look out for teammates, and contribute to a culture where safety incidents and hazards are reported promptly
* Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance. Australian Citizen and willingness to undertake and maintain an Australian Federal Police check
