The Role
As Senior Buyer, you'll lead the end-to-end buying process — from trend identification and range building through to supplier management and in-season trading.
You'll balance creativity with commercial thinking, ensuring product ranges are aligned to customer demand while delivering strong sales, margin, and brand positioning.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and deliver seasonal product ranges from concept through to delivery
* Develop and execute category strategies aligned to brand and commercial goals
* Identify trends and translate them into commercially successful product
* Manage supplier relationships, including cost negotiation and production timelines
* Oversee sampling, fit, and product approvals to ensure quality standards
* Drive in-season trading performance through range optimisation and repeat strategies
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Planning, Design, and Marketing teams
What We're Looking For
* 5+ years' experience in a Buyer or Senior Buyer role within fashion retail
* Strong commercial acumen and proven product success
* Experience working with offshore suppliers and negotiating cost prices
* Ability to build and trade successful ranges in a fast-paced environment
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Passion for fashion and understanding of trends and customer behaviour
