Position Purpose

To provide high-quality payroll processing and support to internal and external clients of ADP, with active participation in the Payforce team and related operational activities.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage payrolls for a portfolio of clients, including weekly, fortnightly, and monthly pay runs.
* Ensure successful payroll processing according to client agreements and ADP standards.
* Produce accurate and timely payrolls and EFTs from approved documentation.
* Maintain up-to-date employee pay details, making only approved changes.
* Prepare long service leave, termination, and other payroll-related payments and reports.
* Process and pay payroll corrections promptly.
* Update pay records accurately, including corrections.
* Comply with statutory requirements.
* Ensure quality control of data entry for own and other client bases.
* Process retrospective payments and leave payments.
* Amend master-file data and create new employee details.
* Complete month-end and year-end processing.
* Manage and respond to pay-related queries efficiently.
* Assist in data collation for service reports and error analysis.
* Resolve technical issues promptly.
* Escalate client issues as needed.
* Achieve individual KPIs in line with department goals.
* Work flexible hours when required.

Experience

* 1-5 years in customer service in large team environments.
* 2-5 years payroll processing experience managing over 200 staff and multiple pay runs.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Commitment to world-class service delivery.
* Effective communication skills.
* Knowledge of Australian payroll legislation.
* Experience with Payforce system and MS Office.
* Ability to work under time pressure and prioritize issues.
