About the Role
We are seeking experienced Rope Access Boilermakers to support current and upcoming shutdown, maintenance and project works across Australia's largest mine sites. In this casual FIFO role, you will access consistent work across 90+ client sites, competitive rates and genuine long-term career opportunities within a well-established national contractor.
Join our specialist Access division and complete fixed plant mechanical and fabrication works at height across major mining operations. Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Performing fabrication, repair and maintenance works at height using rope access techniques
* Completing welding, plate work and structural repairs on fixed plant infrastructure
* Accessing confined and elevated areas not reachable by conventional scaffolding or EWP
* Working safely and in strict accordance with permit-to-work, isolation and rope access procedures
What You'll Need
We are looking for qualified and safety-focused Rope Access Boilermakers with strong fixed plant experience.
Essential
* IRATA Level 1, 2 or 3 certification
* Heavy Fabrication trade qualification (AU/NZ recognised)
* First Aid Certificate (required for IRATA Level 3)
* Working at Heights & Confined Space (within 2 years)
* Construction White Card
* Current Australian Driver's LicenceValid Australian work rights
* Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
Highly Desirable
* Previous mining experience
* Client inductions (Rio Tinto, Fortescue, BHP, etc.)
* Additional trade or high-risk tickets
