About the role

Are you a Registered Nurse ready to specialize in wound care and elevate your clinical practice? This transitional Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) role is designed to help you grow your expertise with structured support, mentoring, and hands-on experience.

Working under the guidance of the Wound CNS2 and the Integrated Care leadership team, you'll deliver high-quality, evidence-based wound management across Armidale and surrounding areas. Through clinical supervision, tailored development plans, and mentorship, you'll confidently expand your skills while practicing safely within your current scope, preparing you for a full CNS role.

Your work will include patient assessment, care coordination, staff education, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives, all aimed at achieving best-practice outcomes. This role is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse passionate about wound care, professional growth, and making a meaningful impact on the community.

Where you'll be working

Nestled in the stunning New England region, Armidale offers an exceptional balance of career opportunity and lifestyle. Enjoy a vibrant university-town atmosphere, rich heritage, world-heritage national parks, waterfalls, and cool-climate vineyards—all while advancing your career in a supportive, community-focused environment.
