Join our team of over 3100 committed members facing these challenges.About The RoleJoin us as a Medium Rail Plant Operator in V/Line’s Network Development, Assets, and Maintenance Group. Reporting to the Track Maintenance Supervisor, based in Echuca, Regional Victoria, you will operate and drive trucks and plant in the medium category for maintenance, renewal, and upgrades on the Victorian Rail Network.Key Accountabilities include:Loading and unloading equipment for transportation.Ensuring maintenance and servicing of trucks and plant are completed as required.Participating in replacing rail components like track, ballasts, and fastenings, and performing general maintenance and cleaning.Ensuring all operations comply with safety standards.Assisting the team with manual labor when not operating plant and machinery.Working overtime, staying away from home, traveling to different locations, and working different shifts as needed.About YouV/Line values diversity and safety.
