Join a forward-thinking team that embraces innovation, values continuous improvement, and is passionate about delivering exceptional care.ResponsibilitiesConduct medication chart reviews and medication reconciliationDispense and supply medications and pharmacy productsCoordinate medication requirements for inpatients, day patients, and dischargesProvide medication counselling and profiles to patients upon dischargeEducate and advise patients and staff on medication use, disease prevention, and health promotionSupport patients, carers, and hospital staff throughout the patient journeyBuild and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure exceptional serviceParticipate in the weekend and public holiday rosterWho are we looking for?As a registered pharmacist with Australian based pharmacy experience, you will have a team orientated attitude, a focus on delivering exceptional service and care to patients, and the ability to manage your own workload with good communication skills to effectively liaise with a wide range of health professionals.
You will be highly driven and have high attention to detail and a passion for building on your clinical skills and knowledge.Eligibility Requirements:Be a current AHPRA registered pharmacist with previous experience in an Australian based pharmacyStrong knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)Have time management, communication and teamwork skillsBe flexible and adaptable working with a diverse teamEmbrace change and commit to learningValue attention to detail and able to work autonomously and multi-taskMinimum 2 years of dispensing experience in an Australian based hospital or community pharmacyFor this role, hospital experience is desirable but not necessary.
