Job Description
The Department of Communities and Justice is seeking a highly skilled Asset Performance Supervisor to join our Property Services team.
About the Role
This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective management of Housing Portfolio assets.
Your Responsibilities:
* Plan and manage inspections, services, and performance programs
* Coordinate the development of quarterly maintenance works programs
* Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and contractors
* Lead a team of Asset Performance Officers and provide guidance on workload allocations
* Oversight staff performance and professional development
* Ensure compliance with government standards and initiate abatement action for substandard work
* Contribute to compliance, risk, and performance management programs
* Accurately forecast financial expenditures and review program delivery
What We're Looking For
* Understanding of Australian Building Codes, Standards, Government, or commercial probity and contracting standards
* Relevant qualification and/or construction building maintenance experience, including field inspection and measurement of performance against standards
* Experience in residential property maintenance and managing program of works
* Proven experience in managing staff and desirable – compliance inspections of building essential services
