Your new company Our client is a well established organisation specialising in high quality process instrumentation equipment and solutions across the oil & gas, power generation, mining, and broader industrial sectors. With sustained growth and a strong reputation for technical expertise, long standing customer partnerships, and a commitment to commercial excellence, they continue to set the benchmark in their field.

With continued operational success, they are now seeking an experienced Operations Manager to drive commercial performance, elevate operational efficiency, and lead the organisation. Your new role As the Operations Manager, you will play a central role in driving commercial performance, operational efficiency, and cross functional alignment.

Acting as the key link between sales, finance, and leadership, you will oversee pricing, tenders, key accounts, business systems reporting, and support both financial and HR oversight. Your responsibilities will include: Managing RFQs, tenders, pricing strategies, and quote approvals.

Overseeing major account pricing, renewals, and commercial compliance. Managing a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring strong relationships and customer satisfaction. Supporting cash flow monitoring, margin management, and commercial alignment with business strategy.

Leading process improvement initiatives across CRM/ERP systems and sales operations. Identifying gaps in processes, implementing efficiencies, and ensuring data accuracy. Providing commercial escalation support and guiding internal teams through training and coaching.

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will bring: Experience in commercial management, operations management, or sales operations leadership.

Strong knowledge of pricing structures, quoting processes, and tender preparation. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to analyse business data and produce meaningful reporting insights.

Strong organisational capability and the ability to manage competing priorities. Proven experience leading, coaching, and supporting teams. High attention to detail with a commitment to commercial accuracy.

Desirable: Experience within the oil & gas sector or related technical industries. Knowledge of valves or engineered product environments.

Experience working with CRM/ERP platforms. Strong financial literacy, particularly around margins and cash flow. What you'll get in return
