About us:
The Central Queensland Mental Health – Alcohol and Other Drugs Service provides specialist mental health, substance and alcohol related care to the residents of Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast, Gladstone, Central Highlands & Banana areas.
About the role:
As a Senior Clinician, successful applicants will be required to provide training, mentoring and support for less experienced clinicians in the Forensic Services Team. They may also be required to undertake other clinical duties as per the direction of the Team Manager.
The Prison Mental Health Service is supported by the Queensland Forensic Mental Health Service (QFMHS), which is led by the Director and Operations Manager, QFMHS.
About you:
Hold qualifications and registration with the appropriate registration authority to practice in any of the following:
Occupational Therapy
Psychology
Social Work (+ Working with Children Clearance)
Registered Nurse
While not mandatory, eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner under the Mental Health Act 2016 would be highly desirable.

What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $164,212 p.a. is comprised of:
An hourly rate between $66.85 - $72.58 p.h.
12.75% employer superannuation contribution
