Job Description
As a Sales Estimator, you will play a key role in the front end of our projects from initial landscape design through to detailed costings and handover to construction. This role is hybrid with working from home and also out on site. It requires a strong understanding of landscape and pool construction methods, materials, and sequencing, combined with excellent client-facing and organisational skills.
We aren't looking for just anyone. This candidate would have a high level of communication and also be professional, reliable, family-oriented, and driven, with a strong work ethic and genuine passion for delivering premium outdoor projects to a very high standard. You'll work closely with management, admin and designers to ensure projects are accurately examined, priced, and set up for success.
* Attend site visits to assess scope, measure areas, and understand project requirements.
* Interpret and work from 2D architectural, engineering and landscape plans.
* Prepare accurate estimates and proposals for landscape and pool construction projects.
* Present client proposals and follow up existing clients to secure projects.
* Communicate clearly with clients and designers throughout the estimating process.
* Liaise with Project Manager to ensure smooth handover from sales to construction.
* Maintain organised records, estimates, and client communications.
* Represent the company professionally and uphold our high-end brand image.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* High level of organisation and attention to detail.
* Ability to read, understand, and interpret plans and specifications.
* Good understanding of landscape construction processes (Not limited to - Decking, Tiling, Concreting, Retaining Walls...). OR willing to learn.
* Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
* Works well independently and as part of a team.
* High standards around professionalism, presentation, and follow-through.
Education and Experience
* Minimum 5 years' experience in Landscape Construction, Pool Construction, Building, Carpentry or a related trade.
* Previous experience in estimating, sales, or project coordination (preferred).
* Valid Driver's License.
* Job-specific training and systems training provided by the company.
