About The Role
This role supports the Projects and Design Manager by coordinating a range of capital infrastructure works, managing procurement and contract activities, overseeing site compliance, and ensuring seamless project close out and asset handover. You will play a key role in planning, managing, and delivering capital projects that enhance water services and benefit communities across the region.
The Responsibilities Of This Role Include
To provide support to the Project Managers in the delivery of a wide range of infrastructure construction projects
Undertake planning, procurement, tendering, construction and contract management, for a range of infrastructure construction works.
Prepare and maintain meeting minutes and progress reports on projects.
Assist in the site surveillance of construction works for the Project Delivery teams within the Water's Capital Program Unit and/or Design and Projects Unit to monitor technical, quality, environment and work health and safety compliance for both internal and external contractors, and Council work crews.
Undertake scope, program, and cost management activities.
Assist with onsite surveillance and technical oversight for infrastructure construction works.
Prepare procurement and tendering processes including drafting RFT documents and evaluation plans.
Administer contracts, track milestones with Gantt charts, and manage project budgets.
Ensure compliance with technical specs, environmental controls, WHS, and relevant legislation.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and provide clear communication throughout each project phase.

The advertised salary is based on the grade of the position, comprising of 4 steps within the range shown. The starting salary is at Step 1 within the grade. Progression through the salary steps shall be based upon the achievement of performance objectives relating to the position.
About You
To be successful in the position, you will have:
Diploma in Building or Construction, Engineering, Project Management, Surveying or related field or extensive experience in a similar role within the building or construction industry.
Demonstrated experience in a range of Construction Delivery functions including procurement, time, cost, quality, and contract surveillance.
Current NSW General Construction Induction card (white card) or acceptable interstate alternative.
Minimum current NSW Class C driver's licence or equivalent licence valid in NSW.
Proof of Australian residency or citizenship, or the proof of the right to work in Australia (visa).
