Overview
This is a fantastic opportunity for enthusiastic and energetic individuals with a solid customer focus to fill a Patient Service Assistant role in our busy hospital. This role will see you working with an assisting clinical staff, and completing orderly tasks such as:
- Transporting patients between wards and departments
- Cleaning and linen / waste removal
- Fetch and carry equipment and supplies
About You
- Possess Certificate III in Health Service Assistance
- Demonstrated experience as Patient Services Assistant / Hospital Orderly
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment and independently
- Be available for a range of shifts across a 7-day rotating roster
- A strong willingness to learn and develop a working knowledge of hospital procedures
- Motivated and positive with a high level of attention to detail
Remuneration
A base hourly rate ranging from $27.66 + 25% casual loading + superannuation, based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
