Human Resources Advisor
The HR Advisor will partner with site leadership and employees to deliver an effective, compliant, high-performing HR service. You will coach and advise leaders on employee relations, performance management, and HR policy; support development and cultural programs; drive consistency and compliance in HR systems and processes; maintain accurate people data and reporting; and champion diversity, inclusion and engagement across the site. Your work will help Ravenswood Gold realise its purpose of creating enduring value through our people and region.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Coach and advise leaders and managers across the site in relation to employee relations matters, performance management, disciplinary, investigations and resolution of HR issues.
* Provide generalist HR support to employees (leaders and team members), responding to queries with care, professionalism, accuracy and confidentiality.
* Partner with leadership to design, deliver and embed employee and leader development programs, workshops and cultural initiatives that reflect the organisational values and enrich the employee experience.
* Maintain and update people data and HR systems, produce meaningful HR metrics and reports to support decision-making and highlight trends or emerging risks.
* Ensure HR policies, procedures and processes are applied consistently, and support compliance with relevant employment legislation (e.g., Fair Work Act, modern awards, enterprise agreements), as well as site-specific standards.
* Drive engagement, inclusion and diversity initiatives on site; help facilitate the creation of a high-performing, inclusive culture aligned with our values.
* Support workforce planning, onboarding/offboarding, job design, role clarity, and other HR lifecycle activities as required.
* Build trusted relationships with stakeholders (leaders, employees, P&C team) and act as a trusted advisor, identifying opportunities to enhance people practices, culture and performance.
* Uphold and promote the site's safety culture, behaviours and operational disciplines in all HR activities.
About You:
Essential
* Tertiary qualification (Bachelor's or equivalent) in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or related field.
* Proven experience in an HR advisor or generalist HR role, with strong exposure to employee relations, investigations and performance management.
* Strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills; ability to build credibility and trust with leaders and employees, maintain confidentiality and act with integrity.
* Ability to work independently, prioritise a varied workload, problem-solve and partner effectively across the business.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and comfortable learning HRIS or other systems.
* Current Australian Driver's Licence.
* Willingness and ability to work on-site on a Drive-in/Drive-out roster.
Desirable
* Previous mining, resources or site-based operational experience.
* Experience working in a FIFO or DIDO environment and understanding the people challenges of remote/rostered workforces.
* Knowledge of industrial relations, modern awards, enterprise agreements, and site/operations HR practices.
* Familiarity with HR metrics, dashboards and data-driven insights
