* Support course review and development and implementation across the University
* Base salary of $126,065 - 142,171 + 17% superannuation (increasing in June 2026)

About the opportunity

Join the Curriculum and Policy team and support course reviews, development and implementation across the University. As the Curriculum Development Specialist, you will support the review, development, implementation and ongoing continuous improvement of courses, ensuring alignment with curriculum principles, regulatory requirements, and professional accreditation standards.

Working closely with faculties, University schools, and staff within the Division of the Academic Registrar and across the Education and Students Portfolio, you will contribute to meaningful reviews and continuous improvement initiatives that inform and enhance courses.

Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate closely with faculties, University schools, the Curriculum and Policy team, Division of the Academic Registrar, Education and Students Portfolio to support course reviews and development.
* Coordinate and contribute to course reviews, including data collection, analysis, benchmarking, and reporting.
* Support the implementation of recommendations arising from course reviews to improve courses.
* Prepare reports, executive summaries, and supporting documentation for review and quality assurance activities.
* Assist academic and professional staff in progressing course changes from development, to committee consideration and where applicable, implementation.
* Identify opportunities to improve workflows, documentation processes, and operational practices across course development activities.

Qualifications

* Demonstrated experience in course development, course review, and the implementation in a university context.
* Extensive knowledge of curriculum design, assessment, and quality assurance frameworks and higher education legislation.
* Strong understanding of university governance structures, including corporate and academic governance requirements.
* Proven experience preparing reports, executive documentation, and detailed written recommendations for diverse stakeholder groups.
* Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships across academic and professional teams in a university context.
* Excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
