The Opportunity We are seeking a SUPERSTAR who is dynamic, passionate, and a confident leader in the Early Childhood Education sector to join our team as Centre Director at our Leda Service. Key Responsibilities
* Leadership & Management: Inspire, mentor, and lead a team of educators to create a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
* Operational Oversight: Manage the day-to-day operations, including staffing, rostering, budgeting, and resource allocation.
* Compliance: Ensure the service fully complies with the Education and Care Services National Law and National Regulations.
* Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong, respectful relationships with families and the local community.
About You
* Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent), plus a current Working With Children Check.
* Experience: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage a team of educators, driving high performance and positive staff culture.
* Skills: Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—with the ability to build trusting relationships with families, staff, regulatory authorities, and the broader community.
* Passion: A strong commitment to delivering high-quality early childhood education and care, with a deep respect for cultural learning and community values.
Desirable Skills and Experience
* Previous experience as a Centre Director, Service Manager, or in a similar leadership role.
* Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage challenges constructively.
* Experience in budgeting, financial management, and resource planning.
* Proficiency with sector-specific management software and reporting systems.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up to date with industry changes and best practices.
