Job Opportunity: Transport Coordinator
Overview: A dynamic organization seeks an experienced Transport Allocator to coordinate truck movements efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and allocate container transport to meet client appointments and timeslots at ports, customers, and de-hire yards.
* Coordinate the timely de-hiring of containers.
* Interact with clients and truck drivers.
* Ensure accurate weight calculations to avoid exceeding gross weight carrying capacity.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in transport or logistics, wharf cartage.
* Knowledge of transport systems, including 1-stop, Containerchain, and FreightTracker.
* Understanding of transport regulations, such as Dangerous Goods, Fatigue, Chain of Responsibility, Mass, and Maintenance under NHVR.
* Current driver's license and vehicle.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
