About the Role: In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the servicing of the Hotel’s rooms, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards. A strong focus on cleanliness, attention to detail, and guest satisfaction is essential to create a welcoming, comfortable, and healthy workplace for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and support the housekeeping team to ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Service and inspect rooms, replenish supplies and maintain guest comfort
- Manage daily schedules, attendance, and leave to support efficiency and productivity
- Communicate closely with Reception regarding room status and guest requirements
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and WH&S; standards
- Assist other departments and step in for the Executive Housekeeper when required
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or supervisory roles within hospitality
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with attention to detail
- Ability to lead, train, and motivate a diverse team
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Knowledge of WH&S; and hotel operational procedures
- Professional grooming, presentation, and a positive, adaptable attitude
