About the Role
We're seeking a motivated Electrician to join a busy commercial projects team specialising in retail and shop-fit out electrical installations across Sydney. This role suits someone confident on tools, able to work to deadlines, and keen to grow their capability within a structured, reputable business. Newly qualified tradespeople and strong 4th-year apprentices are encouraged to apply.
You'll be working across commercial spaces, retail refurbishments, lighting installs, wiring, switchboards, fit-offs and general commercial electrical work. You'll be supported by a team known for quality workmanship, strong safety standards, and delivering projects for major retail and construction clients.
Tasks & Responsibilities
* Complete commercial electrical installs, wiring & fit-offs for shop fit-out projects
* Install lighting, power, switches, cabling and systems to spec
* Read and interpret plans, drawings and electrical layouts
* Work efficiently to project deadlines while maintaining high safety standards
* Assist with troubleshooting, testing and commissioning
* Liaise with site teams, supervisors and project managers
Skills & Experience
* Fully qualified Electrician OR 4th year apprentice close to completing
* Experience in commercial electrical, shop fit-outs or retail projects advantageous
* Ability to interpret drawings and follow site instructions
* Robust communication, time management and safety focus
* Current driver's licence
Salary & Benefits
* $45-$55 per hour depending on experience
