Based in accounts/admin office in Toowong we are looking for an accounts payable officer to join this amazing team.
Some responsibilities include:
AP Function:
* Processing high volume of invoices through an automated workflow OCR system
* Reconciling supplier statements
* Preparing daily, weekly and month’s end EFT payments
* Reconciling and clearing internal accounts
* Liaising with internal and external suppliers/manufacturers
* Effective management of the AP inbox.
* Assisting with internal Year End reports
* Ad hoc and other admin duties
AR Function:
* Perform account reconciliations
* Meeting month-end deadlines
* Investigate and resolve customer enquiries
* Ensuring collections & credit procedures are followed
* Liaising with internal and external customers via phone & email
* Journal allocations of payments as required
* Credit reference checks on new credit application
What we are looking for in you!
* Minimum of 2 years of AP and AR experience
* Highly developed organisational and communication skills
* Intermediate to Advanced computer skills with MS Excel, Office, accounting software and databases
* To be able to meet strict deadlines and to be able to multi-task
* To ensure all invoices are processed promptly and efficiently
* High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
* The ability to prioritise your workload
* Debt collection ability
* Work well under-pressure and as part of a team
* Pleasant phone manner and great liaising skill
* Experience in the Motor Vehicle industry and exposure to Pentana would be advantageous
