Your Role
As our Contracts Administrator, you'll be pivotal in ensuring every property transaction flows seamlessly. You'll guarantee compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in all contract stages—from preparation to settlement—while upholding McGrath's reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Draft, review, and finalise real estate contracts and related documentation—ensuring accuracy and compliance with QLD legislation and internal standards.
* Guide clients, agents, and external parties through contract complexities in clear, client-friendly language.
* Monitor and manage contract milestones: cooling-off periods, vendor disclosures, amendments, extensions, and settlement deadlines.
* Identify and mitigate contractual risks, ensuring compliance at every phase.
* Maintain organised, up-to-date contract records and documentation.
* Collaborate closely with sales and operations teams to resolve any contract-related issues promptly.
* Stay informed on regulatory shifts such as QLD's new Seller Disclosure Scheme to proactively apply compliance updates.
About You
* Demonstrated experience in contract administration, legal support, or real estate transaction roles (minimum 2 years experience in Real Estate).
* Strong understanding of contract law, real estate regulations (Queensland), and industry best practice.
* Exceptional attention to detail, with stellar written communication skills for drafting and reviewing documentation.
* Confident working across teams and providing clear direction to clients and stakeholders.
* Organised, methodical, and able to manage a high number contracts simultaneously.
* Real Estate Certificate qualification.
