Key Responsibilities:
Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and month-end processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations with precision and efficiency.
Prepare BAS, financial statements, and compliance reports to support governance and decision-making.
Implement best practice finance, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures to enhance efficiency.
Maintain the general ledger and asset register, ensuring key reconciliations are accurate and up to date.
Provide support to the Chief Financial Officer and contribute to financial process improvements.
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:
A formal undergraduate qualification in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
Minimum three years of experience in a similar finance role, ideally across both private and not-for-profit sectors.
Robust knowledge of Xero, MYOB, Microsoft Suite, and financial systems, with a willingness to adapt and innovate.
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
