Position Title: Experienced Furniture Tradesperson Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Adelaide Reports To: Production Manager / Workshop Supervisor About the Role We are seeking an experienced and reliable Furniture Tradesperson to join our team. The successful candidate will have strong craftsmanship skills, attention to detail, and experience manufacturing, assembling, repairing, and installing high-quality furniture and cabinetry products. This role suits someone who takes pride in their workmanship, works well independently and within a team, and is committed to delivering quality outcomes. Key Responsibilities Manufacture and assemble custom furniture and cabinetry Read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently Measure, cut, shape, and fit materials accurately Carry out furniture repairs, modifications, and installations Ensure all work meets quality standards and project timelines Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment Follow workplace health and safety procedures Liaise with supervisors, team members, and clients as required Skills & Experience Trade qualification in Cabinet Making, Furniture Making, Carpentry, or related field Minimum [3–5] years’ experience in furniture manufacturing or joinery Strong knowledge of timber, laminates, veneers, and hardware Experience using woodworking machinery and power tools Ability to read technical drawings and plans High attention to detail and problem-solving ability Strong work ethic and time management skills Current driver’s licence preferred Desirable Experience with custom residential or commercial fit-outs CNC machinery experience Installation experience Forklift licence (advantageous)
