Overview
A busy professional family of six are looking for a fun, reliable, and organised nanny to care for their 4 children (ages 4, 6, 8, and 10). The children are energetic, love their activities, and thrive with routine—so they are seeking someone who can keep the household running smoothly and bring a sense of calm and structure to the daily life.
Days and Hours
* Monday – Thursday: 6:00am – 6:30pm
* Friday: 6:00am – 6:30pm
Option to have 1 nanny doing split shifts across the week or two nannies—one for 3 days a week and the other 2 days per week.
Ideal Nanny
You are:
* Fun, patient, and not easily flustered by busy children
* Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
* Capable of keeping kids on track with routines (especially dinner/bath/bed)
* A confident driver with proven childcare experience (formal qualifications a bonus, but experience is highly valued)
Typical Day and Responsibilities
* Morning routine: breakfast, school bags, and drop-offs
* Driving to/from school and after-school activities (tennis, gymnastics, dance, stage school)
* Cooking healthy, family-friendly dinners and preparing school lunches
* Helping with homework and supervising bath/bed routines
* Light household tasks
* Dishwasher (stack/unstack)
* Laundry (washing, folding, putting away)
* General tidying (or guiding kids to do it themselves!)
* Grocery shopping
* Changing/washing kids' bedding periodically
* Walking the dogs when possible
Pets
* 2 medium-sized outdoor dogs (very friendly—love a walk when time allows)
Family Expectations
We see our nannies as part of our family. Respect, honesty, clear communication, and reliability are key. Our children are expected to listen to their nannies just as they would to us, and we deeply value the support and initiative our nanny brings—especially during school hours when small household jobs make a big difference. We are hands-on parents but work long hours, so your role in creating a calm, well-run household is both important and greatly appreciated.
