About Your Role
As a Registered Nurse with, you will deliver safe, compassionate, and person-centred care to patients in their community and residential settings.
Key Responsibilities
* Conducting comprehensive nursing assessments and developing tailored care plans
* Administering clinical care such as wound management, catheter care, and medication administration
* Educating patients and their families on self-care and health management
* Working independently and collaboratively with nursing staff and allied health professionals
* Supporting quality improvement initiatives and maintaining documentation in electronic medical records
* Participating in on-call roster and occasional work across multiple sites within Metro South Health
* Leading and supervising junior nursing and care staff as required
About You
You're a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse who thrives in a community care environment. You take pride in delivering person-centred care and enjoy working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
To Succeed In This Role, You Will Bring
* Demonstrated clinical competence and ability to provide person-centred care in a community or similar setting
* Excellent assessment, planning, critical thinking, and communication skills
* Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
* Commitment to professional development and evidence-based practice
* Experience or willingness to work in community-based rehabilitation and restorative care
* Current Class C driver's license and willingness to travel across Metro South Health sites

Community and Oral Health Services deliver a broad range of quality community-based care and support services to help people improve and maintain their wellbeing and independence as well as oral health services to adults and children. We deliver a myriad of services across Metro South including Hospital in the Home, Rehabilitation, Chronic Disease, Acute Care, Dementia Outreach, Oral Health, and specialist residential care along with delivering numerous other vital community health services.
