The Leaf Store is a long-established, boutique greengrocer and artisan retailer, where fresh produce meets high-end beautiful floristry located in the heart of Armadale, known for our stunning floral designs, top-quality blooms, and exceptional customer service. We're growing fast and looking for a long-term team member who shares our passion for floristry.
The Role
As a Senior Florist, you’ll take on both creative and leadership responsibilities, working Friday through Sunday in our busy Armadale store.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supervising and guiding junior florists, ensuring high standards of workmanship
- Creating beautiful bouquets and arrangements tailored to customer requests
- Receiving and conditioning market-fresh flowers and plants
- Maintaining displays, and workspaces to bloom-perfect standards
- Handling customer orders in-store
- Ensuring daily display upkeep and stock management
What We’re Looking For
- Substantial professional experience as a florist (minimum 3+ years preferred)
- A mature, reliable approach with proven leadership skills
- Ability to supervise, train, and support junior florists
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Solid knowledge of contemporary floristry, including plants and cut flowers
- High attention to detail, time management, and efficiency in a quick-paced setting
