Power Generation Planner Role
We are seeking a skilled candidate to join our team at the Power Generation Plant. This role is pivotal in planning, scheduling, and coordinating outage operations and maintenance activities to ensure reliability and efficiency across the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and schedule major overhauls and strategic maintenance programs.
* Organise resources (materials, personnel, contractors) for maintenance and operations activities.
* Coordinate transport, logistics, and contractors for internal and external maintenance work.
* Prepare detailed work breakdown structures, scopes, and schedules for maintenance projects.
* Manage tender and quote processes.
* Ensure maintenance outage projects meet budget, timeframes, and quality standards.
* Maintain a safe working environment and promote a culture of safety and accountability.
* Share technical knowledge with peers and stakeholders.
* Communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Trade certificate or relevant qualifications in power generation or similar industry.
* Current Class C Driver's Licence.
* Proficiency in Computerised Maintenance Systems (e.g., SAP).
* Scheduling and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
* MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).
* Strong understanding of work management, planning/scheduling, and contracting techniques.
* Knowledge of safety and environmental legislation, standards, and procedures.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to articulate technical information clearly.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
