About the Role
We're seeking a Commercial Banking Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll work closely with a Relationship Manager to manage a portfolio of customers.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Developing and maintaining a detailed understanding of each customer's business and financial needs.
* Applying a customer-centric approach to support customers' business needs with suitable products and services.
* Maintaining a well-managed portfolio compliant with all relevant policies and procedures.
Key Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* Prior experience in commercial banking frontline roles and commercial lending.
* Strong communication skills to effectively assist customers.
* Attention to detail when reviewing agreements and contracts.
* Ability to assess a customer's ability to fulfill their credit obligations, considering qualitative and quantitative factors.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and keep track of customer documentation, banking transactions, and internal communications.
* Familiarity with risk management concepts, particularly in credit risk, risk and market risk.
