About the Role
We are seeking an experienced CSSD Technician to join our dynamic perioperative team on a full-time basis. As a valued member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering outstanding customer service and contributing to a supportive person-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Thermal disinfection inspection, packaging, and sterilizing of all instrumentation for theatre and other clinical areas
* Compliance with AS/NZ standards 5369:2023, GENCA
* Operate, interpret, and document all machinery operational requirements
* Reporting and documenting all quality activities
* Prioritization of instrumentation and processes
* 2 years' experience as a CSSD technician (desirable)
* Sound knowledge of AS/NZ 4187 2014
* Demonstrated knowledge of instrumentation
* Experience with tracking systems
* Endoscopy reprocessing experience or willingness to learn
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
* Intermediate computer literacy skills - including MS office and various databases
