Phillip Island Kindergarten is a new centre offerring a kindergarten program, for 3-5 year olds, in a Long Day Care model. Funded by the State Government Building Blocks Grant, Phillip Island Kindergarten is a beautiful, architecturally designed centre, that is very well resourced. We are now looking for the right teacher to lead and develop an engaging Kindergarten environment and connected community.

We are seeking a passionate and motivated **Kindergarten Teacher** to join our welcoming, community-focused team. This is a Full-Time role that includes term holidays. At Phillip Island Kindergarten, we believe children learn best through **active, play-based experiences**. Our programs are underpinned by the **Early Years Learning Framework** and designed to support every child's **social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development**. We offer **3 and 4-year-old Kindergarten programs in a long day model**. Our architecturally designed environment goes beyond equipment—it's about how our educators inspire curiosity, challenge thinking, and co-construct learning with children. You will be the inaugural Lead Kindergarten Teacher in a not-for-profit independent kindergarten, working alongside an experienced Director who will support the development and delivery of your program. Applicants must demonstrate a minimum of 3+ years of kindergarten teaching experience.

How to Apply:

What You Will Need:
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
- Current VIT registration.
- Strong knowledge of the **Early Years Learning Framework** and the **National Quality Standards**.
- A commitment to inclusive, play-based, and child-centered learning.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A passion for inspiring curiosity and creativity in children.
- An interest in exploring nature pedagogy and developing an outdoors program
- A valid Working with Children Check is required before commencing employment.
