Position Vacant Inclusion Support QLD, Mackay
Along with our consortium partner KU Children’s Services, Cairns and District Child Care Development Association Inc. manage the Inclusion Support Program in Queensland, funded by the Australian Government Department of Education and Training.
A vacancy exists within our Mackay team for an Inclusion Professional to support educators in strengthening their capacity and capability to embed inclusive practices within ECEC services.
This is a casual position offered on a fixed-term contract, for up to 36 hours per fortnight available throughout the contract duration.
Essential qualifications and experience:
* A minimum Diploma of Children’s Services or Early Childhood Teaching qualifications, with five (5) years industry experience in early childhood
* A knowledge of current inclusion principles and practices
* A knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standard and the Learning Frameworks (EYLF & MTOP)
* Knowledge, understanding and practice of adult learning principles
* A high level of IT skills - including video conferencing
* Current Working with Children Blue Card Queensland
* Current Drivers licence
* Ability to travel to remote services
Desirable:
* Applicants with previous Inclusion Professional experience will be highly regarded.
