About the Role Rober Half is seeking a skilled Management Accountant to join a leading FMCG company on a temporary basis. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the finance team by managing financial reporting, delivering budget insights, and contributing to informed decision-making. You will bring your expertise to a business that's truly at the cutting edge of the FMCG market and help ensure smooth operations during this transitional phase. Key Responsibilities: Prepare management accounts, including variance analysis and key performance indicators. Support budgeting, forecasting, and expense management to meet targets. Analyse financial data and provide insights to influence strategic planning and decision-making. Collaborate closely with operational teams for integrated financial reporting. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. Assist with process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required during the period of engagement. Requirements: Proven experience working as a Management Accountant. Advanced knowledge of financial planning, reporting, and analysis tools. Strong familiarity with ERP systems and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.). Qualification in Accounting (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent). Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with non-financial stakeholders. Proactive problem-solving approach and a keen eye for detail. Available to start immediately or at short notice for a temporary assignment.
