We design, build and install major agricultural infrastructure across regional Australia — and we're looking for an experienced WHS Manager to strengthen our safety culture and drive continuous improvement across project sites and remote locations, plus Head Office, Young NSW.

What You'll Be Doing
* Lead and enhance AGS's Work Health & Safety systems, frameworks and compliance.
* Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations and site audits, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
* Support project managers and site supervisors with practical, hands‑on WHS guidance.
* Maintain and improve WHS Management Plans for all AGS projects.
* Facilitate WHS training, toolbox talks and safety awareness activities.
* Oversee emergency procedures, SWMS, and high‑risk work permits.
* Build strong relationships across teams, promoting a proactive safety culture.
About You
* Experienced WHS professional from construction, manufacturing, mining or heavy industry.
* Minimum 3-4 years of proven WHS experience in agricultural, engineering, or construction environments.
* Diploma of WHS (BSB51319).
* Degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field is acceptable.
* Strong communicator who relates well to both site crews and senior leaders.
* Comfortable travelling to project sites and regional locations.
* Sound working knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and Codes of Practice.
* Practical, solutions‑focused and confident influencing behaviour and process.
* Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident with full working rights.
Important to Know
This is a senior operational role not a routine 9-5 job, involving regular travel across Australia balanced with time in the office and WFH.
Location
Young, NSW (approx. 2 days per week), with regular travel across regional Australia and WFH.
