St John the Baptist Catholic Primary School, Woy Woy is currently seeking a passionate and skilled Learner Diversity Teacher for a 12-month temporary, part-time (0.6FTE) opportunity to commence Term 1, 2026 & conclude at the end of the school year.

The working days for this position is Monday - Wednesday.

Specific Criteria

- Highly effective, skilled classroom practitioner committed to the ethos of the Catholic School
- Qualifications and/or experience in Learner Diversity Education
- Knowledge and experience of the processes for NCCD and how to implement this at a school level
- Experience collaborating with teachers to develop and implement Individual Learning Plans to support diverse learners and students with disabilities
- Capacity to contribute to the school’s Continuous Improvement Cycle and is committed to student achievement
- Proven ability to apply sound pedagogical practices, including but not limited to the use of technology, to create a inspiring and engaging learning environment that caters to diverse learners and enhances student learning
- Skilled in analysing and reflecting on student learning data to ensure learning growth for all students
- Highly effective in managing and facilitating safe and supportive learning environments with an understanding of positive student welfare practices
- Willingness to contribute to the broader extracurricular aspects of school life as an active member of the school community
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic professional learning community, including leading classroom teachers and learning support assistants in inclusive and best practice in a case management approach
