About the Role
We are seeking an Early Career Midwife to join our supportive maternity team in Cairns, with regular travel to the Weipa cluster to provide culturally safe, continuity-based care.
The early career Midwife with up to 4 years' experience (ECM) working in an inter-hospital and Health service rotational program, is an exciting opportunity for a midwife wanting to transition to a caseload continuity of care model in a structured and supportive environment.
The role enables you to care for an allocated caseload of women, with the support and collaboration of other health care providers, within the Torres and Cape Maternity services including the Midwifery Group Practice, Midwifery Navigation and Outreach Midwifery services, as well as rotating into the Midwifery team at Cairns Base Hospital.
