$83,706 - $89,659 + up to 15.4% superannuation Orchard Hills - NSW The Role As a Maintenance Scheduler, working in Explosive Materiel Branch (EMB) in the Department of Defence, you will be working on some of the most exciting and complex guided weapons and explosive ordnance products used by the Australian Defence Force. As an APS5 Maintenance Scheduler in Explosive Materiel Branch, you will be given the unique opportunity to work within a diverse team to deliver Australian Defence Force systems that are at the leading edge of Defence Capability. You will spend your days; Assisting in developing and co-ordinating forward plans and projections for the Navy/RAAF/ARMY Missile Maintenance process lines, Planning and delivering critical maintenance, engineering activities; Providing advice to stakeholders; Mentoring junior members; and Enabling good inventory decisions with quality and timely maintenance advice. Your responsibilities will require you to apply your scheduling skills and experience across a diverse range of maintenance activities which may include explosive ordnance knowledge, configuration management, scheduling software in support of the acquisition and sustainment of Defence capability. There may be some domestic business travel associated with this position. This position will be required to access US export controlled materiel and therefore applicants will be requested to disclose any dual citizenship with another country during the recruitment process.
