Fire Station Optometrists in Mount Gambier is seeking an Optometrist or recent Graduate ready to grow in a supportive, collaborative, and values-driven team. You’ll be immersed in full-scope optometry with strong mentoring, structured training, and the chance to work closely with ophthalmologists and a diverse patient base.
The Opportunity
* Grow your clinical confidence through measured skill development and personalised learning pathways
* Work alongside experienced optometrists and receive ongoing mentorship
* No weekends and time off between Christmas and New Year
* Occasional support visits to Port Augusta and Victor Harbor for variety and exposure to other regional locations
What You’ll Be Doing
* Full-scope optometry including :
* Eye health and therapeutic management
* Co‑management with resident and visiting Ophthalmologists
* Supporting a culturally diverse patient base with care and respect
* Dispensing support (preferred but not essential)
