About the Practice:
Our Bupa Dental Penrith practice is well known for its cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, implants and general dentistry. We are a solid, stable team looking for an experienced dental assistant as we prepare for a significant growth in customer volumes.
As a full-time dental assistant and receptionist in our practice you will:
5. Maintain our amazing customer and team culture - providing continued excellent customer service to our patients
6. Prepare patients & facilities for dental treatment
7. Deliver quality chairside assistance to our Dentists
8. Provide instrument sterilisation
9. Maintain infection control standards and procedures
10. Meeting and greeting patients, providing a great first impression
11. Booking and amending appointments, answering the phone, updating patientrecords
12. Supporting the Practice Manager and clinical team with the smoothrunning of the practice
13. Making patients aware of dental services and offers
14. Handling payments
15. Accessing sensitive information whilst maintaining patientconfidentiality
16. High-end patient care; building & maintaining relationships with allclients in a friendly & warm manner
You'll be:
17. Ideally 1+ years experience in Australia as a dental assistant
18. Receptionist experience highly regarded however on the job training provided
19. Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting highly regarded - and you'll be compensated with the pay to match your experience level!
20. You're a motivated self-starter, this is a fast paced and dynamic role
21. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
22. Passionate about customer service and patient care
23. Organised with attention to detail
24. Ability to build rapport with patients, in a cheerful, light-hearted manner
