In this role, the Education Manager (EMB) is responsible for leadership and management of educational workgroup/s and for ensuring that the educational program/s is capable of responding to the education and training needs of government, industry, students and clients.
Got What It Takes?
* Proven ability to manage, monitor, evaluate, improve and report on the productivity and performance of designated educational workgroup/s.
* Demonstrated ability to implement sound Human Resource Management policies and processes at both individual and organisational levels.
* Demonstrated ability to drive the continuous improvement of an educational program/s, products and services in accordance with the requirements of ASQA (Australian Skills Quality Authority).
* Demonstrated ability to liaise and negotiate with other training providers, schools, universities, other government agencies and Industry.
What You Need to Know
A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.

There are currently three Education Manager positions within the Foundation Skills Faculty:
* The Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) provides free English intuition to newly arrived eligible migrants and humanitarian entrants to help them learn English language & settlement skills.
* The Literacy and Numeracy workgroup delivers support across SA industry, schools, and universities and includes Women's Education, language, literacy, numeracy, digital (LLND) technology support to the vocational programs across TAFE SA. This workgroup also includes Auslan and Deaf Gain Education.
* The Foundation Skills program which delivers English as an additional language, to improve English skills for work, additional study, and life in Australia. Courses are offered at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels to build skills and also explore grammar, pronunciation, and academic writing skills.
