As a Mine Planning Professional, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of daily and weekly development and production activities.

The successful candidate will report to the Senior Mining Engineer and be responsible for monitoring the daily performance of these activities, identifying trends that may compromise schedules, and communicating them effectively to their superiors.

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity that allows you to utilise your previous skills and experience. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including Production, Geology, Geotech, and Maintenance departments, to ensure that plans are executed as per schedule.

The ideal candidate will have excellent skills in the Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI, as well as competence in mine planning and design software such as Deswik and Fleet control.

They will also possess a tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or a related discipline, good communication and organisational skills, and minimum 2 years' relevant experience in the mining industry.

A significant experience in all planning processes, from short to medium term, is essential for this role. Additionally, a current 'C' Class Western Australian Drivers Licence (Manual) is required.


Job Description:

* Scheduling, sequencing, and execution of daily and/or weekly plan.
* Identify risk and opportunities on daily and/or weekly planning.
* Liaise with Production, Geology, Geotech, Maintenance department to ensure Monthly plan is followed.
* Analyse production data and statistics to amend schedules accordingly.
* Timely delivery of two-weekly plans and schedules.
* Working on ramps and haul network designs.
* Coordinate with various stakeholders regarding sequencing, scheduling, and execution of the plan weekly and daily plan.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Excellent skills in the Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI.
* Competent in the use of mine planning and design software – such as Deswik, Fleet control.
* Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or a related discipline.
* Good communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in the mining industry.
* Significant experience in all planning processes, from short to medium term.
* Current "C" Class Western Australian Drivers Licence (Manual).
