About the Role
* Provide guidance, supervision and support to rangers in investigation work.
* Undertake complex investigations, complaints management and review of infringement notices.
* Contribute to enforcing Council By-Laws and legislation within the municipality.
About You
* You will have proven experience in a regulatory or law enforcement background.
* You must be able to negotiate and mediate with people and stakeholders in high conflict situations.
* You should be able to interpret and apply legislation and regulations.
* You will undertake complex investigations and make recommendations to senior management.
* You are able to manage difficult situations and people effectively.
* You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* You have sound administrative skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
* You can prepare prosecution briefs for court.
* You hold a Senior First Aid Certificate and OCHRE card.
* You have a Diploma in Government Investigations or similar qualification.
The Opportunity
This is an operational role where you will contribute to the delivery of our Community Plan through investigation management, complaints management, community education and engagement activities, stakeholder relationships and supervision of Rangers.
