About The Role
The role of the Digital Marketing Officer is responsible for delivering innovative and contemporary marketing initiatives and are passionate about delivering content that creates a positive connection to our local community.
We are seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist who is self-motivated and competent across a range of digital marketing channels. You will be highly organised with exceptional attention to detail, bring strong analytical skills to the position, along with a natural ability to work collaboratively across a range of internal and external stakeholders. You will have a strong track record of driving results across owned and paid channels with a proven ability to craft compelling copy for various digital placements and a keen eye for image selection that aligns with brand messaging.
This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have
* Degree in Digital Communications, Digital Marketing or related field OR demonstrated solid contemporary experience in a similar role for minimum of 3 years, combined with ongoing professional development.
* You have a wealth of experience when it comes to undertaking the delivery of digital marketing content planning and campaigns across multiple platforms
* You love building relationships and have outstanding communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to persuade stakeholders on matters relating to digital marketing

Other Important Information
* The commencing salary for this position is up to $74.7k per annum. Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of $86.5k per annum on completion of assessment of skills and performance 11.5% superannuation
* We have a temporary full-time role available until July 2026
* This role will be able to access a 9 day fortnight
* We are able to offer hybrid and flexible working conditions for this role - 2 days from home and 3 days onsite
* This role is located at the Wyong Administration Building
