Join to apply for the Driver Academy for Women role at Cleanaway Waste Management.
Location: Crestmead, QLD • Start date: October 2025 • Start time: 5am onwards, Mon–Fri
Program tailored for women, female identifying and non-binary persons. This program is a paid, intensive training initiative designed to remove barriers to entry and set you up to become a HR licensed truck driver, followed by ongoing learning for the next 12 months.
Responsibilities
- Service multiple customer sites and collect automotive waste
- Drive a Pantech truck and transport waste to disposal/recycling facilities
- Perform loading and unloading duties and manual handling as required
- Able to work autonomously and maintain high levels of customer service
- Maintain vehicle presentation and complete paperwork accurately
Qualifications & Requirements
- Hold a current unrestricted driver’s licence for a minimum of 24 months
- Driving History Check with a minimum of 8 demerit points remaining
- No heavy vehicle driving experience required
- Be passionate about working as part of a team with a strong safety focus
- Excellent customer service ethic
- Commitment to safety and willingness to learn
- Resilient attitude
Paid Training & What’s Included
