About the role:
The Training & Development Officer is a pivotal role within the People & Culture Team, accountable for delivering comprehensive training services to the organisation. This position involves strategic planning and the execution of leadership and employee development programs, reviewing and reporting on organizational training needs, and implementing new training systems. This critical role demands high confidentiality and a commitment to enhancing the organisation's human capital through innovative and effective training solutions.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Ensure effective, consistent, and timely delivery of employee and leadership development programs to support the organization's strategic objectives.
Contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of training policies, procedures, and projects based on current legislation and best practices in learning and development.
What we're looking for:
Previous experience in a similar role with particular focus on competency modelling and succession planning
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or related discipline is desirable
Current C class driver's licence
National (or Federal) Police Certificate (no more than 6 months old
