Are you a hands ‐ on and solutions ‐ focused Product Developer ready to make a meaningful impact in food production?
At Primo Foods, you ' ll play a key role in supporting product development, cost optimisation, and continuous improvement across our portfolio. You ' ll work closely with cross ‐ functional teams to enhance product quality, efficiency, and innovation within a fast ‐ paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support EPD and product improvement projects to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost performance
* Identify and implement cost ‐ reduction and process ‐ optimisation opportunities
* Analyse production processes, ingredients, machinery and yields to pinpoint improvements
* Ensure products meet food safety, regulatory and customer quality standards
* Provide technical R&D support across operations, supply chain, procurement and QA
* Troubleshoot product, process and quality issues and support root cause analysis
* Conduct trials in pilot and factory environments and track outcomes
* Research new ingredients, packaging and processing technologies
* Use data ‐ driven insights to support formulation improvements and scalability
* Manage timelines, deliverables and key milestones across simultaneous projects
About You
* Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or related field
* 2+ years' experience in product development, R&D, QA or food manufacturing
* Strong understanding of HACCP, FSANZ, GMP and food safety principles
* Analytical thinker with experience running trials and solving production issues
* Excellent communicator with strong cross ‐ functional collaboration skills
* Detail ‐ oriented, adaptable and comfortable in a fast ‐ paced manufacturing environment
