Here's your chance to make an impact by working on complex budgeting and financial management challenges that support vital outcomes for Victorians. Working as part of the Portfolio Budget and Finance branch, your ability to interrogate financial data and distil insights will guide government frameworks and align departmental goals with long-term state priorities. Join the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) as a Budget Analyst and help deliver sound financial strategies that shape Victoria's future. Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications * Degree in accounting, finance or commerce or equivalent is desirable. * Experience in best practice budgeting within government and knowledge of the Financial Management Act is desirable. * Experience using Microsoft Excel is well regarded. This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
