The Role
About the Position
You will be situated in our Operations Centre of Excellence.
Main Responsibilities
* Monitoring and Managing Assets via SCADA Systems, responding to new events and developments within the National Electricity Market;
* Liaising with the operational team for swift reaction to plant and market notifications and alerts;
* Collaborating with Transmission Service Providers (TNSP), AEMO and other relevant entities regarding asset outages or specific production conditions;
* Assessing weather forecasts and issuing timely alerts, addressing emergency calls from stakeholders;
* Preparation and submission of daily, weekly and monthly operational reports;
* Negotiating with O&M Contractors to maximise equipment availability.
