PRICING & BUSINESS ANALYST — AAT Kings
Location: Sydney (Hybrid) – Full‐time
The Role
We're looking for a detail-driven Pricing & Business Analyst to join our Analytics team supporting the AAT Kings brand. Reporting to the Pricing & Business Analytics Manager, this role is all about accuracy, automation and on-time delivery. You'll be the operational backbone of our pricing and reporting function ensuring pricing files, reports and system outputs are always correct, current and ready when needed.
What You'll Be Doing
* Preparing and updating pricing files through seasonal rollover cycles using established templates and methodologies
* Consolidating inputs from Product, Operations and Finance and applying updates for supplier costs, FX movements and pricing parameters
* Building automated checks and exception flags in Excel to catch pricing errors before they reach market
* Producing competitor pricing summaries and maintaining up-to-date market data
* Managing pricing distribution to Sales, Marketing and other stakeholders with clear version control
* Producing weekly, monthly and ad‐hoc reports in Excel and Power BI
* Extracting and reconciling data across multiple systems including Tropics, TMS and Airtable
What You'll Bring
Essential:
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills — complex formulas, Power Query, data modelling and automation
* Strong Power BI experience including data modelling and measure creation
* 2–5 years' experience in a Business Analyst, Pricing Analyst or Reporting Analyst role
* Exceptional attention to detail with an automation‐first mindset
* Ability to work independently, manage competing deadlines and own your outputs
Desirable:
* Experience with VBA, SQL or similar automation tools
* Prior exposure to pricing, revenue management or cost analysis
* Experience reconciling data across multiple business systems
